Terms of use
These terms apply to the spirewm.com website and to the Spire service provided by Spire(“Spire”, “we”). Firms with a paid subscription also sign a subscription agreement; where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.

What Spire is — and is not
Spire is practice-management software for mutual fund distributors and wealth management firms. It helps a firm's team manage leads, client reviews, back-office queries and portfolio reports.
Spire is not a SEBI-registered intermediary. It is not an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker, distributor or portfolio manager. Nothing in Spire is investment advice or a recommendation, and Spire does not execute transactions. Market data shown in Spire comes from third-party and public sources and should be checked before you rely on it with a client.
Accounts and access
- Each firm has its own workspace. The firm's owner decides who gets access and what role they have.
- You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure and tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
- Use Spire only for your firm's own business and within the law.
AI features and your Gemini key
Spire's AI features (summaries, client message drafts, Wealth Story reviews and Spire Saathi) run on Google Gemini using an API key that your firm provides. Your firm is responsible for that key, its security, the Google terms that apply to it and any charges Google bills for its use. Spire does not control Google's terms, limits or pricing.
Before sending anything to Gemini, Spire removes PAN, Aadhaar, phone numbers, email addresses and bank, folio and card numbers. It also replaces with a placeholder the name of any lead or client the user can see in Spire, in notes and Saathi questions alike. A name Spire doesn't hold, such as a new prospect being added or a family member who isn't a client, is sent as typed. Your firm chooses its Google tier: on the free tier, Google's terms let it use requests to improve its services; with billing turned on, it doesn't. AI output is a draft: your team is responsible for checking it before relying on it or sending it to a client.
Saathi questions that return client records are logged, with who asked and which clients came back, so your Owner can spot someone looking up an unusual number of clients.
Your data
Your firm owns the data it puts into Spire. We process it only to provide and secure the service, as described in our privacy policy. Your firm is responsible for having the right to store its clients' data and for the messages its team sends to clients.
AI-drafted content
Spire can draft notes, summaries and messages using AI. Drafts can be wrong. A person at your firm must review every draft before it is saved or shared, and your firm is responsible for what it sends.
Things you must not do
- Resell or share access to Spire outside your firm.
- Try to get around seat limits, access controls or security measures.
- Copy, reverse engineer or use Spire to build a competing product.
- Recreate Spire's screens, workflows or reports from screenshots, recordings or demo access.
- Scrape or crawl Spire with automated tools.
- Upload malicious code or use Spire unlawfully.
Our intellectual property
Spire's software, design, screens, workflows, sample reports, demo videos and documentation belong to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. A subscription gives your firm the right to use Spire, not to copy it. The same applies to anyone given a demo or trial.
Fees
Prices are shown on our pricing page and are agreed with each firm before its workspace goes live. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period chosen, monthly or yearly.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Spire available and secure but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We improve Spire regularly and may change features; we will give notice of any change that materially reduces what a paying firm receives.
Liability
Spire is provided as a software tool. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made using information shown in Spire. Our total liability to a firm is limited to the fees it paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending use
A firm may stop using Spire at the end of its billing period. We may suspend access for non-payment, a security risk or serious misuse. When a subscription ends, the firm can ask for an export of its data before it is deleted.
